Data Visualization Analyst

Key Role: 
Produce high-quality analytical reports and dashboards for internal senior leaders and business decision-makers. Plan, organize, and lead analysis efforts, including the collection, analysis, and layering of both internal and external business information. Use Tableau or Power BI to connect to data sources and develop data visualizations and communicate key metrics and drivers of the business to create insightful analyses. Author and produce a variety of analytical products in varying mediums that are tailored for the intended audience. Maintain and improve operational reports and make recommendations to improve internal data collection methods and systems to refine and grow reporting and analysis capabilities. Develop comprehension both internal and external sources of data, data collection methods and systems, and available reporting tools.

Basic Qualifications: 
-3+ years of experience with consulting in a professional services, market research, or consulting firm focused on the development of business metrics, operational reports, and market trends
-2+ years of experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau and PowerBI
-2+ years of experience with query writing in SQL database
-Experience with gathering, filtering, and categorizing large amounts of data, analyzing and synthesizing information to identify business trends and critical issues, and developing conclusions and formulating recommendations
-Experience with using Microsoft Office software to produce high-quality analytical products and reports, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, adapt to changing demands and priorities, and execute against ambiguous direction

Additional Qualifications: 
-Experience with database management and administration

-Experience with Visual Basic coding
-Ability to pay strict attention to detail
-Possession of excellent project management skills for leading short and long-term efforts
-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining relationships at all levels within the organization to successfully execute assignments, and cultivating a “trusted advisor” role with senior executives
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to manage client expectations, shape and scope assignments, and deliver articulate and succinct executive-level briefings
-BA or BS degree
