Database Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of fielded databases. Perform system checks, backups, recoveries, and load analysis. Build or rebuild replication schemes and troubleshoot database issues with other applications. Perform help desk functions and troubleshoot user issues.

Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience with supporting UNIX and Workstation environments or administrative support
-Experience with writing and optimizing SQL statements

-Experience with recent versions of MySQL
-Experience with the maintenance of relational databases and associated admin tools

-Knowledge of HTML and other Internet languages and web development tools

-Ability to perform backups and recoveries on fielded databases

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to work independently

-Ability to multi-task

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and time management skills

-BA or BS degree preferred

-Security+ Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
