Database Development and Management Lead

Key Role:

Conduct database design and maintenance for Operations Support Officer (OSO) products. Maintain and potentially modify production databases that track the production of OSO products and allow for review and analysis of production metrics. Design, administer, and evaluate survey instruments designed to measure key aspects of DO Offices’ performance, including producing reports for this performance measurement.  Apply qualitative research methods to gain in–depth understanding of the requirements of internal and external customers and their use of products. Data–mine and analyze open source information in support of OSO–related taskings and design, implement, and maintain user interfaces for databases. Maintain and potentially modify SharePoint portals used by operational support elements. Brief products produced at meetings, workshops, or other community venues for intelligence sharing and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

-2 years of experience with operating and maintaining SharePoint and in programing, operating and maintaining databases, including SQL Server or Microsoft Access

-2 years of experience with applying quantitative and qualitative research methods, including data mining and analysis

-Experience with using descriptive and multivariate statistical procedures to analyze quantitative data using Spotfire, SPSS, or Microsoft Excel

-Experience with Microsoft

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-HS diploma or GED

-Data Base Administrator (DBA) Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods, Operations Research, or Program and Project Evaluation preferred
