Defense Research Analyst Lead

Key Role:

Provide support to the Joint Test and Evaluation (T&E) program, US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), and Air Force client office for strategic planning and Command and Control (C2) operations by developing operational doctrine for the integration of strategic weapons into existing plans. Provide the government with insights into C2 of strategic operations and analyze the specific contributions of these assets to national military strategy. Provide advanced data metrics development, data collection planning, post-event analysis, and evaluation for project test events. Observe and analyze test and evaluation operations to ensure data collected addresses Measure of Performance or Measure of Effectiveness and ensure conformity with military doctrines, policies, and procedures. Maintain responsibility for conducting in-depth functional area research and leveraging ORSA expertise in tabletop exercise (TTX) and field test events.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with data collection and analysis planning, test issue resolution, post-test data analysis, and report preparation and production

-Experience with developing data collection and analysis methodologies to ensure that all test data collected is of sufficient quantity, quality, and relevancy to meet test objectives    

-Knowledge of USSTRATCOM and Joint Staff roles and responsibilities

-Ability to analyze operational test activities and use advanced expertise of mathematics, statistical, and engineering methods in determining solutions to complex problems

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with joint or operational T&E

-Experience with strategic weapons systems and planning or operations

-TS/SCI clearance preferred
