Defense System Acquisition Analyst, Mid

Key Role:
Support a Navy Command and associated program executive officers and program offices, including assisting the client by analyzing the development and evaluation of risk, issue, or opportunity strategies and policies across a portfolio of efforts and performing all aspects of risk, issue, or opportunity management, including planning, identification, analysis, response, and monitor or control. Facilitate risk review boards and determine the appropriate risk-register tools. Identify stakeholders and manage stakeholder communications and engagements. Provide risk, issue, and opportunity training. Work with integrated product teams to apply expertise in risk, issue, and opportunity across a defense acquisition program's life cycle, including infusing risk, issue, and opportunity information into program acquisition documentation. This position is located in San Diego, CA.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with defense acquisition systems
-2+ years of experience in a program office
-2+ years of experience with risk, issue, and opportunity management
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
-Experience with creating defense acquisition documents
-Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 or SECNAVINST 5000.2E policies and documents
-Knowledge of the DoD risk, issue, and opportunity management guide
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in a Navy program office, including executing acquisition category (ACAT) programs
-Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FARs) or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
-Knowledge of Joint documents
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-MBA, JD, or MA or MS degree
-DAWIA, PMP, or other program management certifications
-PMI-RM Certification
