Defensive Cyber Operations/Internal Defense Analyst

Key Role:
Provide direct support to meet Combatant Command (CCMD) strategic and operational level objectives as part of the JFHQ EUCOM staff. Coordinate with DoD EUR, JFHQ AFCYBER, JFHQ-DoDIN, and other CYBERCOM components, as required. Coordinate, monitor, and assess the execution of regional DoDIN operations and provides recommendations. Coordinate, integrate, synchronize, and deconflict Cyberspace operations to meet requirements. Maintain SA on vulnerabilities and threats to CCMD missions. Provide recommendations to support response actions against DoDIN degradation or denial of CCMD missions. Analyze tactical mission reports (MISREPs), provide MISREPs to the CCMD after analysis, and disseminate and provide explanation of technical content regarding operational and strategic Cyber threat assessments and products throughout the CCMD. 

Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with operational and technical military planning, including developing and coordinating United States Air Force (USAF) or other Services’ participation in Command, Service, Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), or CCMD operations
-6+ years of experience as part of a JFHQ DoDIN, AFCYBER, sister service component, or commercial DCO crew
-Knowledge of Cyber operations, including AFCYBER capabilities and limitations
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Completion of Undergraduate Cyber Training (UCT), Computer Defense Operations (CDO), Joint Cyberspace Analysis Course (JCAC), Cyber Ops Fundamentals Course (COFC) or Civ Fundamentals Course (CFFC), or Cyber Intelligence Formal Training Unit (CIFTU)
-DoDI 8570 level II Certification, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience at the Air Operations Center (AOC), Operations Center (OC), or other service component operational level preferred
-Experience as staff at the Numbered Air Force level or above
-Experience with network infrastructure, Cyberspace vulnerabilities analysis, and DCO planning support
-Knowledge of Joint Planning and Execution Services (JPES), the Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) and Adaptive Planning and Execution System (APEX), or the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
