Deployment Readiness Analyst

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for providing continuous operational support and analysis to support an Army client's EDRE program, Army power projection program, exercise planning, and steady-state operations focused on executing Army command missions. Conduct EDRE assessments and after-action reviews in coordination with an Army lessons learned program. Maintain responsibility for planning exercises, tracking deployments, and coordinating, writing, and publishing mission orders to subordinate elements consisting of nearly 800,000 personnel supporting combat, crisis response, and humanitarian or disaster relief. Present operational briefs and updates to the Army command staff and other directorates, as required.

Basic Qualifications:
-20 years of experience with the military 
-3 years of experience as Army Command or Army Service Component Command Headquarters staff, including working as an operations field grade officer or senior non-commissioned officer
-Experience with the US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) or equivalent operational or technical Army command
-Knowledge of the missions, functions, and deployment operations of FORSCOM in accordance with FORSCOM Army regulations
-Knowledge of strategic movement requirements, including the Joint Operation Planning Execution System (JOPES), Transportation Coordinators' Automated Information for Movement System (TC-AIMS), and unit deployment lists
-Knowledge of DoD client mission responsibilities, including those of Army commands
-Knowledge of principles, concepts and methodology that constitute FORSCOM or an equivalent Army command with a mission of providing command and control of ongoing operations, through the execution of mobilization, deployment and redeployment of forces.
-Knowledge of the Global Force Management Plan (GFMAP)’s Army Synchronization Tool (AST) and the Army Messaging Handling System (AMHS)
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
