Deputy Program Manager

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for planning and managing programs to meet product delivery, quality, and cost goals on consulting engagements. Act as the project team leader, including reviewing user or technical requirements, identifying tasks, assigning and coordinating resources, and creating or tracking project schedules. Ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution. Work on advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical knowledge of the industry. Act as the in-house expert on specific technologies, as needed. Take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital. Develop competency in project and financial management and be more involved in managing teams and formulating business strategy.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience supporting Cyber, IT, Software, or Procurement programs

-8+ years of experience with leading government projects and managing spend plans and profitability assessment

-Ability to provide competent leadership to a team, including stepping in as the CDM program manager, as needed 

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Booz Allen hiring and accounting or finance practices and systems
-Experience with government agencies, including the DOE, OPM, USDA, DOT, DOI, EOP, and VA

-Knowledge of assessing LCATs

-Ability to lead data gathering sessions as retrospectives with stakeholders, provide briefings to clients, and produce high quality deliverables comfortably

-Ability to be results-focused, proactive, highly collaborative, and confident under pressure
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with internal team personnel, subcontractors, and government clients

-DHS Suitability clearance preferred

-MBA degree

-PMP Certification

-Agile Certification

-MS Project training or Certification
