Deputy Program Manager

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for planning and managing engineering and technical program to meet product delivery, quality, and cost goals. Review user or technical requirements, identify tasks, assign and coordinate resources, and create or track project schedules. Ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues. Oversee advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring current technical knowledge. Serve as an expert on specific technologies and business processes. Exhibit competency in project and financial management and participate in managing teams and formulating business strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in government, professional, or technical services

-Experience with managing government professional, technical services contracts in the C4ISR community valued at $50M or higher

-Knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) with specific application to manage large professional engineering contracts

-Knowledge of government contracting and translate government requirements into actionable tasks to deliver required technical services

-Ability to prioritize, manage, and resolve multiple complex contract requirements simultaneously in a dynamic support environment

-Ability to manage work priorities for program management office staff of varying specialties, including program analysts, budget analysts, procurement specialists, training, recruiters, subcontracts, and travel

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-BA or BS degree in Engineering

-Project Management Professional Certification
