Deputy Program Manager

Key Role:

Build and manage project teams in the delivery of software solutions. Maintain responsibility for a project’s plans, financials, and contractual commitments. Work with your teams to identify, manage, and escalate risks, provide human leadership, direction, and purpose, and ensure that they have what they need to deliver.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with the management of software systems and technical projects

-Experience with managing the key cost, schedule, performance, and risk controls under an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) 

-Knowledge of systems engineering processes 

-Ability to manage technical teams

-Ability to obtain a security clearance 

-BA or BS degree and 10+ years of experience with the management of software systems or technical projects or an AA or AS degree and 15+ years of experience with the management of software systems or technical projects

-PMP Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with technical leadership in an Agile delivery environment

-Experience with systems engineering for an air tracking system 

-Experience with developmental operations (DevOps) practices and principles 

-Experience with creating presentations and briefings 

-Knowledge of C2 Mission Systems 

-Knowledge of radar and communications networks 

-Ability to communicate with staff at all levels effectively 

-Ability to manage multiple projects, adjust quickly to shifting priorities, solve problems, and deal with a variety of options in complex situations 

-Ability to synthesize discussions into actionable deliverables and collect, analyze, and use data to make, recommend, or enable decisions 

-Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred 

-BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT preferred; MS degree and 15+ years of experience in a related field a plus
