DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps engineer on our team, you’ll help streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open source tools, automation, and Cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best – innovate. You’ll work with the team to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience with IT and network engineering, security engineering, systems administration, or security operations
  • Experience with AWS Services tools in providing automated DevSecOps solutions, including CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, EC2, IAM, Route 53, S3, RDS, SES, and VPC
  • Experience with container platform solutions, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Pivotal Container Service
  • Experience in developing Cloud formation and custom scripting via Ruby or Bash to configure automation capabilities
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice to Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with microservices or Web services
  • 1+ year of experience in CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience with setting up and working with the DevOps pipeline
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience with open source Web technologies, including Spring boot, Angular, React, Apache Camel, or Kafka
  • Knowledge of standard SDLC tools, including JIRA, GitHub, and Docker
  • AWS Certification
