DevOps Platform Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Provide system administration support for a multi-tenant Cloud-based container management platform. Serve as a critical team player within the operations team on a large government contract that provides an OpenShift- and Kubernetes-based platform in support of diverse tenant applications. Maintain responsibility for monitoring, maintenance, tuning, capacity management, and incident response functions for the platform and implement innovative monitoring and automation. Serve as a mentor and training partner to teammates on key platform technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift

-Ability to provide onsite after-hours support in an on-call capacity approximately 6 weeks, including weekends per year

-TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-HS diploma or GED

-IAT II Certification, including Security+

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with Linux

-1+ years of experience with Cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure

-Experience in a fast-paced operational environment with hands-on system administration and troubleshooting responsibilities

-Experience with deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing Cloud-based environments

-Experience with the development, deployment, and troubleshooting of Docker containers

-Experience with Python

-Experience with provisioning automation technologies, including Ansible or Puppet

-Ability to work a late-morning through early-evening schedule, Monday through Friday  from 10:00am-6:00pm, with flexibility

-BA or BS degree

-OpenShift Certification

-AWS Certification
