DevOps Trainer, Senior

Key Role:
Work with client organizations to build new capabilities and increase workforce performance through competency identification and assessment, design and development of learning programs and curricula, and delivery of training. Analyze and research the client's learning requirements, expectations, resources, audience, learning gaps, and critical tasks and the software, technology, and infrastructure available to meet client needs. Design and develop curricula according to instructional principles and client needs and objectives. Support or develop learning development practices that are structured, streamlined, and well-communicated to the team according to best practices for instructor-led training, eLearning and web-based training, virtual classroom, flipped classroom, action learning, job aids, and performance support. Implement practices to produce educational materials and structure content rolled-out to instructors, facilitators, and students per general consulting and project management principles. Collaborate with SMEs, technical, and creative talent to design and development learning solutions. Apply the planning and analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and sustainment (PADDIES) model.

Basic Qualifications:  
-5+ years of experience in an educational, corporate training or professional services environment with an emphasis on e-learning and multimedia technologies
-Experience with leading other ISDs in the performance of all aspects of instructional design for e-Learning and Distributed Learning environments, including managing client deliverables within budgetary and scheduling requirements against defined milestones and deadlines
-Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
-Experience with defining, developing, and accessing shareable content objects (SCOs), collecting, compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing information to determine learning requirements, and implementing learning solutions
-Experience with authoring and editing web and computer-based training materials using Captivate or Articulate
-Ability to develop basic subject-matter comprehension through materials provided and individual research and collaboration with course and content stakeholders
-Ability to design, develop, and implement instructional materials and solutions following defined processes, including electronic job aids, structured courseware, and informal learning content
-Ability to demonstrate an application of cognitive science and human factors engineering that apply to the design of web-based training
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with e-Learning standards, including SCORM and Section 508 requirements, web usability standards and practices, and evaluation models, such as Kirkpatrick
-Experience with writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting customer-ready materials
-Knowledge of a variety of curriculum development instructional strategies, including asynchronous, synchronous, face-to-face, and virtual
-Knowledge of a variety of eLearning authoring tools, including ROCCE, BOLDER, Captivate, and Articulate
-Knowledge of how to deploy learning to Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMSs)
-Ability to work with instructional technology and distributed learning solutions
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent consulting and interpersonal skills
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Distance Learning, English, or Human Performance Technology
