Digital Content Production Specialist

Key Role:

Work as part of corporate marketing and communications to develop and deploy consistent and engaging user experiences across Booz Allen’s enterprise digital properties, including the corporate Web site and external e-mail campaigns. Perform day-to-day digital production, including developing HTML e-mails and Web content using responsive templates and perform project management activities, such as intake, development, testing, scheduling, and deployment of Web and e-mail content. Perform QA for content, technical functionality, link accuracy, and rendering across desktop and mobile platforms by conducting reviews and tests prior to final deployment. Field new requests and monitor all active production items actively daily to prioritize requests in a fast-paced environment and provide clear status updates to project managers. Manage a master e-mail calendar to ensure deployment schedules do not interfere with subscriber preferences or other campaigns and track delivery of multiple projects on time. Collaborate across multiple teams, including creative, integrated marketing, content, Web, and events to provide direction on page or e-mail strategy, ensure all required assets are obtained before development, and procure necessary approvals through reviews prior to releasing. Make content development, placements and e-mail optimization recommendations based on data insights from digital analytics, engagement trends, and industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience in a digital Web production and operations environment, including fielding quick-turn requests and juggling multiple projects at the same time

-2+ years of experience with producing content in an enterprise marketing automation tool, including Eloqua, Marketo, or Paradot

-2+ years of experience with enterprise content management systems, including Adobe Experience Manager or SiteCore

-Experience with using HTML for Web and e-mail

-Experience with managing content production, using production system or content calendar, and deploying across Web and e-mail channels

-Experience with using digital analytics for content and marketing promotions and drawing insights to inform strategy

-Experience with working in a cross-functional team setting, and coordinating with various functional teams, including content, marketing, brand

-Ability to produce a high-caliber of work and apply best practices and a high level of quality assurance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Eloqua

-Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud

-Experience with Litmus tools

-Experience with promoting ethical e-mail practices in a B2B or B2G environment

-Experience with working in graphics or UX design

-Experience with working in a large enterprise environment at the corporate level

-Experience with working in a professional services firm, consulting firm, or agency

-Experience with writing Web content, e-mail content, social content

-Knowledge of international privacy regulations and CAN-SPAM laws

-Knowledge of marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field

-Possession of excellent project management skills, including being efficient in managing a workload and communicating tasks across the team
