Digital Content Strategist

Key Role:

Manage end-to-end strategy, execution, and measurement of an integrated digital, social media, and Web presence for a DoD or VA health-related client engaging a range of audiences on a variety of technical topics. Coordinate content and graphics input and maintain detailed outreach calendars and release schedules across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, YouTube, blogs, and Web sites. Lead the execution of high-visibility digital outreach campaigns in collaboration with industry partners and collaborators. Analyze digital engagement performance and benchmarks against industry standards and best practices, including SEO, Google Analytics, Urchin 6, Twitter Analytics, and custom-build tools, as appropriate. Translate analyses into user-friendly snapshots and other products to visualize and demonstrate communication outcomes and return on investment. Liaise across DoD or VA partners and collaborating organizations to synchronize message consistency and amplify campaign reach and impact.


Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with planning and executing social media or Web outreach campaigns for public sector, private sector, or non-profit clients

-Experience with developing sophisticated, integrated digital engagement campaigns, including project planning, interagency coordination, and detailed content calendar planning and release schedules

-Knowledge of digital analytics techniques and tools, including SEO, Google Analytics, Urchin 6, Twitter Analytics, and Hootsuite

-Knowledge of current and emerging trends, standard operating procedures, and best practices for conducting social media and outreach efforts to meet client missions

-Ability to manage or oversee a range of junior- and mid-level Booz Allen team members and subject matter experts

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree 


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting DoD, VA or other major public sector clients in conducting large-scale communications campaign work, preferably focused on health-related topics, including public health, behavior change, and patient-provider communications

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree in a communications, digital, or a related field
