Digital Marketing Strategist, Lead

Key Role:

Shape the future of Booz Allen’s digital presence by leading digital marketing and demand generation strategies, with a focus on user experience, to strengthen Booz Allen’s brand and reputation. Work with the corporate marketing and communications team and leverage experience with digital marketing strategy and communications to evaluate, design, and implement firm-wide digital strategies and integrated communications plans for Booz Allen Hamilton. Work closely with integrated marketers and business leaders to establish digital objectives and develop and guide on strategic plans and tactics across multiple channels that drive solid and successful business outcomes. Support firm-wide strategies, campaigns, and priorities, and market-driven campaigns. Develop and implement best practices for content creation and distribution, channel strategies, training, and measurement to demonstrate ROE and ROI and drive insights for decision-making. Liaise with internal staff to support digital content and user experience requirements. Maintain a thorough knowledge of current and emerging trends, methods, and technologies, and provide thought leadership in relevant areas.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with professional digital communications, branding, and marketing to dive business results

-3+ years of experience with building and executing digital campaigns across multiple channels with a mix of paid and organic strategies at an enterprise level

-Experience with digital communications planning and implementation, branding and identity, public and media relations, crisis communications, stakeholder relationship management, outreach, leadership messaging, employee engagement, creative media services facilitation, and event management

-Experience with using enterprise content management systems, including Adobe and SiteCore, social media management tools, including Sprout Social and Sprinklr, and digital monitoring platforms, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Radian6, and Facebook Insights

-Experience with developing digital measurement frameworks, including setting goals, establishing KPIs and metrics, and analyzing and reporting on performance and insights for large enterprises

-Experience with writing for the Web, e-mail, and social media and applying SEO to edit content to ensure a high level of quality control

-Knowledge of digital strategy, design, production, and project management, including tactics to leverage Web, e-mail, social media, and paid

-Ability to be a strategic thinker, displaying enthusiasm in learning about and educating others on the latest digital tools, processes, and best practices

-Ability to work well individually and in a collaborative team environment and multitask across multiple projects and clients to effectively manage priorities

-BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with communications and digital strategy in a consulting, professional services, or agency environment

-Experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

-Experience with managing e-mail marketing campaigns, including lead generation, A/B testing, and metrics

-Experience with developing digital advertising campaigns

-Possession of excellent visual design skills

-MA or MBA degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations

-Certifications in digital marketing, user or customer experience, and related fields
