Digital Solutions User Experience Leader

Key Role:

Contribute to the firm's innovation agenda by helping capture and lead a growing set of digital technology projects in the federal and commercial space and assist government leaders to design and implement new consumer and citizen facing digital initiatives and software products consistent with new policies, standards, and methods being driven out of the US Digital Service and GSA's 18F. Lead teams in strategy development, business planning, interviewing, researching, analyzing, wireframing, concept development, user research, and prototyping in an agile development environment. Gather, synthesize, and analyze data, make recommendations, and provide leadership in matters and functions pertaining to digital policy, technology, and industry trends, market, and business issues. Lead and grow the digital experience business, manage modern human centered design and Agile software delivery efforts, advance perspective in the critical areas of user and customer experience, and engage in new and evolving means of procuring digital services. Develop strategic analyses and related documentation for multiple stakeholder types. Leverage knowledge of and expertise in applying project management principles and methods sufficient to plan and carry out difficult tasks and plan, organize, and direct diverse team activities to lead a team of digital customer experience specialists, software engineers, business analysts, and digital strategists in project execution. Develop intellectual capital and lead investment activities focusing on the intersection Agile, DevOps, user experience, and analytics, and improve brand though participation in industry groups and forums and disseminating cutting-edge thinking and complex studies and digital transformations.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience as a UX experience researcher, usability lab manager, usability specialist, or equivalent UX role

-Experience in user research and user testing methodologies

-Experience in design thinking and service design methodologies

-Experience with best practices for information architecture and interaction design, the user-centered design process, and UX principles and techniques

-Experience in a leadership role with providing innovative customer experience solutions to large federal organizations

-Experience with leading large, distributed teams on multiple client-facing engagements

-Experience in the federal procurement process, including business and pipeline development and proposal leadership or writing

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in professional services industry serving commercial or international markets

-MA or MS degree
