Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager

Key Role:
Serve as a part of Booz Allen’s Corporate Diversity and Inclusion Team and play a key role in the execution of inclusion and diversity priorities. Support the development and execution of the firm’s next generation diversity and inclusion strategy and develop and implement inclusion programs designed to ensure a diverse and inclusive organization and enhance the ability to attract, develop, and retain a high performing and diverse workforce. Collaborate with the Learning and Development COE to set the strategy for diversity education programs and services and work to increase the inclusion leadership competency of managers and employees through the implementation of programs and training that educate staff on how to recognize and value individual differences and enrich work in the process. Support process reviews to reveal any barriers to an inclusive culture and valuing and managing diversity inherent in the system. Represent the company when managing external partners to develop and execute strategic engagement plans within budget and that support the organization’s business objectives and ensure ROI. Use expertise in project management to support the execution of D&I projects and ensure timelines are established and deadlines met and develop and track metrics for measuring the effectiveness of corporate inclusion and diversity initiatives and strategic partnerships to assess the ROI and value of the initiatives. Engage, manage, and consult with employee resource groups or forums, workforce leadership councils (WLCs), and stakeholders, including executive sponsors, forum chairs, and WLC chairs proactively to support meeting D&I and business strategy objectives.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with consulting, HR, or business
-3+ years of experience with project and program management
-Experience with using data-driven decision making
-Ability to think strategically and programmatically in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to manage project and external partnership budgets for the firm
-Ability to travel, as required
-BA or BS degree
 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
-Ability to develop effective relationships with peers and leaders across a matrixed organization
-Ability to influence without authority, think proactively, and function independently as a self-starte
-Ability to pay strict attention to and apply appreciation for details and organization
-Ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner
-Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment
-Ability to apply a strategic mindset with a results orientation and bias towards action and creative problem solving
-Ability to collaborate and work well across functions
-Possession of excellent interpersonal, consultative, and analytic skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
