Document Control Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Compile and maintain technical documentation, including change orders and specifications. Examine documents to verify completeness and accuracy of data and resolve discrepancies with document originators. Maintain computerized document control records management system and hardcopy documents to ensure compliance with all applicable and required standards. Develop and maintain procedures and standards for maintaining documents and change control of documents, including document development, approval, production, distribution, and amendment. Plan, direct, and manage document and content management life cycles and work with either structured or unstructured metadata. Lead, transform, and integrate document control from management to legacy to virtualized documentation, Technical Orders (TOs), or Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) and Request for Change (RFC) and Organization Change Request (OCR) forms into an Agile management and delivery cadence. Automate current processes to support CM and other affected processes.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with documentation or process automation

-Experience with new process or procedure development in the DoD or other regulated environments

-Experience with standard Microsoft Office products and SharePoint

-Knowledge of Air Force DCGS documentation process and technologies

-Knowledge of Air Force portal e-Publishing forms and publications

-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

-Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to comprehend technical requirements and translate into documentation

-Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DMCP Certification
