Documentation Specialist, Mid

Key Role
Manage the storage, cataloging, and retrieval of documents. Manage the quality of working documents and update documentation, when altered. Assist employees with proficient system usage. Manage document security, assigning access, and removal of out-of-date documents. Produce manuals, guidelines, and other materials for contract deliverables. Review and edit existing documents and keep records of any changes made. Work with vendors and production managers to assemble materials for product descriptions and user manuals.


Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience as a documentation specialist managing storage, catalog, and retrieval of documents
-Experience with document management platforms, including SharePoint
-Experience with documenting and articulating software behaviors, issues, workflows, and functionality to ensure it is user friendly and easy to comprehend
-Ability to show proficiency in editing technical communications to deliver excellent content
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent time management and organizational skills
