E-mail/Exchange Systems Administrator

Key Role:

Support, sustain, and upgrade all components relating to the direct delivery of e–mail services including e–mail server software, e–mail security systems, e–mail data classification markings, smart phone e–mail connectivity systems, e–mail archiving, and eDiscovery services. Update and patch e–mail systems, ensuring the risk scores are minimized. Manage and monitor e–mail systems and services, providing daily maintenance and responsiveness to incidents and service disruptions. Conduct system security checks, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation of equipment required to maintain the enterprise e–mail environments.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with operating, managing, configuring, and monitoring Enterprise mail solutions using Microsoft Exchange 2010 and newer
-Experience with managing e–mail archival and mobility solutions
-Experience with coordinating upgrades and troubleshooting outages and service interruptions in an e–mail environment

-Ability to provide after–hours support to maintain availability and utility of e–mail systems

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED and 10 years of experience with IT Administration or Engineering

-DoD 8570 Certification, including Security+, CASP, CISSP, or CISM prior to start on program

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing and managing scripted solutions using PowerShell
-Experience with the operational use of systems monitoring tools, including SolarWinds or Microsoft SCOM
-Experience with developing and enhancing operational procedures and new innovative solutions to address current and emerging IT challenges
-Knowledge of ITIL change management and problem management best practices
-Ability to work independently and as a team member to solve difficult technical challenges on a global scale
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in Server 2012 or 2012R2 or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Server 2012 or 2012R2 Certification
