Effects Intelligence Planner

Key Role:

Serve as a US European Command Joint Analysis Center effects intelligence (EI) planner responsible for supporting the full range of current and future Joint EI requirements. Coordinate theater EI planning requirements in accordance with (DoD) Adaptive Planning and Execution planning process and the Joint EI Development Standards. Draft and aid in the implementation of theater EI processes, training, policies, and procedures in accordance with DoD standards and Joint EI doctrine. Assist with developing and maturing EI collections and analytic techniques required for special targeting applications and enhance support related to the Joint intelligence preparation of the operational environment, target systems analysis (TSA), and CONPLAN or OPLAN development. Prepare, integrate, brief, and publish broad and complex all-source intelligence studies, whitepapers, briefings, and assessments in coordination with agencies on adversary regional issues to inform senior decision makers in acquisition, operational, and policy making communities. Convert operational experience into tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Service or Combatant Command (CCMD) intelligence planning or operations

-3+ years of experience with designing, supporting, and executing service and CCMD exercises, wargames, or assessments

-Experience with Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC) operations

-Experience with Joint Exercise Life Cycle activities and Consolidated Support Requirements

-TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-Experience with NATO and SHAPE military planning, operations, and exercises

-Experience with writing and editing clear, concise intelligence products

-Knowledge of the European region

-Ability to perform shift work, if requested by a government client

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent presentation skills
