Electrical and Systems Engineer

That knowledge is key when it comes to the design development of sophisticated and highly reliable armament systems. We’re looking for an electrical and systems engineer who can use their skills to advance the Army’s next generation Remote Weapon Systems.

Our team develops and evaluates complex electro-mechanical devices and systems and recommends design approaches for new or improved products and processes. That’s why we need you, an electrical and systems engineer, with a solid background in embedded C programming, software architecture, motion controllers, sensors and feedback system integration and power and signal electronics development to help us design and develop advanced remote weapon solutions. You’ll provide critical engineering support by designing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices and systems, conducting independent technical investigations, and evaluating vendor capabilities. You Have:

  • 1 + years of experience in electrical or systems engineering

  • Experience with C programming, including MPLab, Microchip controllers, digital communications protocols, software architecture, and state machine design

  • Experience with linear circuits and digital electronics

  • Ability to perform tests and circuit analysis using an oscilloscope, multi-meter, or logic analyzer

  • Ability to develop and implement software test cases through direct manipulation and Python

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BS degree in EE or Computer Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with mixed signal PCB design in Orcad or Altium

  • Experience with programmable logic devices

  • Experience with coding C for Microchip devices is preferred

  • Experience with motion control or robotics

  • Experience with Elmo Application Studio and Elmo motor controls

  • Experience with signal or power electronics

  • Experience with feedback devices, including resolvers, encoders, and proximity sensors

  • Experience with a data acquisition systems, such as LabView, LeCroy Oscilloscopes, and Fluke Multi-Meters

  • Active Secret Clearance
