Electrical Engineer Lead

Key Role:

Perform activities concerned with the design, testing, and manufacture of electronic components, products, and systems and in development of applications of products to military and scientific uses. Work closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of robotics to increase production quality, efficiency, or volume. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with leading integrated product teams in the design, development, and testing of high energy systems required

-Ability to cooperatively engage with multiple stakeholders for the development of system requirements required

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree and 5 years of experience with electrical engineering or Current Professional Engineer License in lieu of Master's degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with leading the design, development, and testing of directed energy systems preferred

-Experience with mitigating electromagnetic compatibility or interference a plus

-Experience with high power electromagnetic, high power radio frequency, or radar systems a plus

-Experience as a military or government civilian a plus

-Knowledge of defense-oriented system requirements development a plus

-Knowledge of additive manufacturing techniques, design for manufacturing, and model-based systems engineering rigor preferred

-Knowledge of manufacturing and supplier industrial bases for high power electronics preferred

-Knowledge of the implementation of quality management procedures, including ISO or AS a plus

-Ability to work within a professional, military environment

-Ability to define system architecture and organize work units towards meeting client deadlines, milestones, and schedules preferred
