Electrical Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Perform engineering research, development, testing and analysis work for a Marine Corps program that requires considerable expertise in engineering, creative ability, and independent judgment. Analyze, validate, and evaluate program firing and malfunction reports to incorporate them into product summary reports and information for program review. Conduct failure analysis and investigations when systems problems arise from an electrical engineering standpoint. Assist with technical review, research, and development of technical data packages (TDPs) and engineering change proposals (ECPs) with regards to components and systems. Support efforts in the areas of test and evaluation (T&E) and in-service engineering for mission systems and munitions. This position is located in Temecula, CA.


Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in an electrical or systems engineering field, including a focus on weapons systems, platforms, or munitions

-Experience in working with military customers in a research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) environment

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including high emphasis on Excel

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Math, Science, or IT


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting Marines or Forces preferred

-Possession of excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, including an eye towards improving systems performance or suitability for various applications

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Top Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree
