Electrical Engineer, Mid

Key Role:
Analyze and evaluate the design, development, and modification of complicated and difficult hardware devices or systems. Maintain technical responsibility for analyzing and conducting technical process or phases of projects and coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel, drafters, technical writers, electronics technicians, as required. Develop and recommend design approaches for new or improved products or processes. Consolidate the results of hardware design elements for assigned projects. Conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material and component or process specifications and requirements. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. as needed. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with working as an electrical or systems engineer

-Knowledge of digital systems design and architecture

-Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with diverse teams from various backgrounds

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-MA or MS degree in Engineering preferred
