Electrical Engineer

Key Role:

Provide nuclear subject matter expertise and program management support to an Air Force client across all nuclear sustainment and acquisition programs and systems. Provide engineering program management support, including ensuring nuclear certification standards are met in accordance with applicable directives. Leverage engineering expertise by reviewing, analyzing, and coordinating on several certification documents. Review and conduct nuclear certification tasks and coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel, technical writers, and other technicians in developing approved nuclear certification packages for tactical and strategic aircraft systems and strategic missile systems. Perform electrical engineering analysis of design requirements for nuclear weapons and interface with delivery platforms.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with tactical and strategic nuclear weapons systems and interfaces

-Experience with program management or nuclear certification

-Experience with project management in a DoD or DoE environment

-Ability to work independently and in a team environment

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD and Air Force nuclear certification governance, including DoD 3150.02 and AFI 63–125

-Experience with nuclear weapons systems and associated delivery platforms

-Experience with business process analysis and development

-Experience with military protocol, tactics, techniques, and procedures and current concepts of operations

-Possession of excellent organizational, time management, analytical, and problem solving skills

-TS/SCI clearance preferred

-BS degree in EE preferred; MS degree in EE a plus

-Nuclear Professional Certification
