Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager, Mid

Key Role:

Research, catalog, and maintain a database of Combatant Command (CCMD) requirements and capability gaps regarding leveraging the electromagnetic spectrum, including electronic warfare (EW), intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and Cyber operations via Radio Frequency (RF) access, non-kinetic effects, or RF targets. Conduct contingency and crisis action planning and current operations planning to support CONPLAN or OPLANS. Brief leaders and provide input to and route staff packages to support CCMD targeting. Conduct and monitor the execution of all aspects of the integration of operations and intelligence to promote Joint electromagnetic spectrum operations preparation. Provide expert advice to operations to optimize intelligence production to support planning and targeting.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with DoD EW and ISR

-2+ years of experience with performing operational-level Joint electromagnetic spectrum operations planning

-Experience with using a spectrum management planning tool to assist with the development of electromagnetic spectrum staff estimates and other planning documents

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-Completion of USMC Spectrum Management Course or comparable DoD Course

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working or interfacing with client staff or Joint and major staff

-Experience with USINDOPACOM or EUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) a plus

-Experience with Joint Task Force operations

-Experience with generating operational requirements and staff estimates in the operational planning process

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills, including applying critical thinking to complex technical problems

-BA or BS degree
-Graduate of a Military Electronic Warfare Course
