Electronic Warfare Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Research, catalog, and maintain a database of Combatant Command requirements and capability gaps regarding leveraging the electromagnetic spectrum, including electronic warfare (EW), intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), and Cyber operations via RF access, non-kinetic effects, or RF targets. Provide the client with timely updates to emerging requirements and observed trends in requirements and capability gaps. Liaise with applicable component requirements managers to discover and synchronize with their requirements development processes and schedules.


Basic Qualifications

-6+ years of experience with DoD EW and ISR

-Experience with formal requirements and the operational requirements process

-Experience with Joint planning or service planning processes at the component, headquarters, or above, including using JOPP MDPP

-Knowledge of current DoD EW operations policies, doctrines, regulations, directives, strategies, concepts, and capabilities

-Knowledge of Joint Urgent Operational Needs Statements (JUONS), Joint Emerging Operational Needs Statements (JEONS), and Integrated Priority Lists (IPLs)

-Knowledge of current and emerging EW, ISR, Space, and Cyber operations capabilities

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

-Completion of US Army Electronic Warfare Officer's Qualification Course, Electronic Warfare Technician Basic Course, or other service equivalent course


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a task or project lead a plus

-Experience in working on or interfacing with client staff or Joint and major staff

-Experience with USINDOPACOM or EUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) a plus

-Experience with generating operational requirements and staff estimates in the operational planning process

-Experience with quick reaction tests

-Experience with Joint targeting

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills, including applying critical thinking to complex technical problems

-MA or MS degree

-Completion of US Army Battlefield Spectrum Management Course or USAF or DoD Inter-Service Radio Frequency Management School
