Electronic Warfare Engineering Technician

Key Role:

Apply technical techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, and communications for receiver systems and specifically with the EA-18G and ALQ-218. Maintain, repair, inspect, troubleshoot, or program systems equipment or components. Review, analyze, develop, prepare, or apply engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures. Organize, analyze, and prepare reports or presentations of technical data and information. Plan and perform tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components. Compile, process, reduce, or analyze test data and results.

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience as an Electronic Warfare engineering technician

-Experience with coordinating with an aircraft maintenance department in preparing aircraft configuration for testing

-Experience in preparing anechoic chamber, ground, and flight tests

-Experience in Electronic Warfare receiver systems, specifically the EA-18G and ALQ-218

-Experience with EW systems avionics support

-Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree and 2+ years of experience as an engineering technician

-Completion of a Technical School, Trade School, or Advanced Armed Services Technical School curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments or ordnance, or engineering technology

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with analytic and design software, including MATLAB, C++, and Java preferred
