Electronic Warfare Liaison, Senior

Key Role:

Represent client’s interests at the Electronic Warfare Group to enable client’s objective of establishing a process for rapid development, testing and fielding of electronic attack (EA) and radio frequency (RF) enable Cyber-attack waveforms and techniques. Perform liaison with key personnel from the electronic combat group, Jammer Technique Optimization Organization (JATO), and other organizations to facilitate an operational testing, interaction with operators, technical information exchanges, and transfer of mission data. Coordinate access for personnel to experts within the disciplines of Cyberspace operations and Cyber tool development. Convey client’s justification for prioritization of EA and RF-enabled Cyber access vector waveforms and techniques development. Relay to client recommendations and considerations from platform employment, TTP development, testing and fielding of techniques and waveforms. Arrange action-officer level meetings between client and client personnel and facilitate on-going dialogue in support of a standing memorandum of agreement. Recommend to client any topics or considerations for periodic updates to higher-headquarters.  

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with EW Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) processes, including applying critical thinking expertise to complex technical problems

-4+ years of experience working with DoD electron warfare

-Knowledge of current Air Force electronic warfare capabilities

-Knowledge of current and emerging Air Force Cyber operations capabilities

-Knowledge of electronic warfare collection, jamming, and reprogramming systems and planning and employing EA techniques and waveforms

-Ability to use software, including MATLAB and C++, for the encoding of EA techniques and waveforms

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with EA targeting and effects estimates

-Experience with practical engineering or flight testing, preferred

-Knowledge of EA technique and waveform development process

-Ability to coordinate with Cyber development organizations, the intelligence community, DoD research laboratories, university affiliated research centers (UARCs), or federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs)

-Knowledge of radar and communications signal generation and processing

-Knowledge of ELINT data and analysis

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS degree in physics, engineering, mathematics, or a technical field or experience in electronic attack capabilities preferred; MS degree in a technical field a plus

-Graduate of a military electronic warfare course or developmental engineering school
