Electronic Warfare Research Engineer

Key Role:

Develop and apply advanced hardware design methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems. Plan, conduct, and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support personnel, drafters, technical writers, and electronics technicians in the performance of assigned projects. Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity. Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Recommend corrections in technical applications and analysis. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Provide technical consultation to other organizations and work leadership for lower level employees.


Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with applicable hardware design

-Knowledge of the following aircraft electronic weapon systems: ALR-46/69, ALQ-131, ALQ-131A, ALQ-184, ALR-56M, APR-39, AAR-47, AAR-44, and ALQ-172

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Electrical Engineering or 6 years of experience in electronic warfare engineering, including advanced hardware design methods, theories, and research techniques regarding the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
