Electronic Warfare Technical Expert, Senior

Key Role:

Develop and apply advanced electronic warfare hardware design methods, theories, and research techniques to the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems. Plan, conduct, and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, including coordinating the efforts of technical support personnel, drafters, technical writers, and electronics technicians in the performance of assigned projects. Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity. Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Recommend corrections to technical applications and analysis. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.


Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience in working with the DoD

-5 years of experience with developing and integrating electronic warfare systems onto low observable aircraft, including expertise in RF antenna, receiver, and transmitter modeling and analysis using tools such as MATLAB and Excel

-4+ years of experience in a SAP or SCI environment

-Experience with electronic warfare engineering, including ACAT I or equivalent aircraft development programs

-Experience with the design, development, integration, testing, and sustainment of all varieties of electronic warfare equipment and countermeasures

-Knowledge of threat radar systems, including RF signal processing designs and techniques, comprehension of electronic warfare intelligence data systems and databases, and how they are used in programming or reprogramming electronic warfare systems

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree required

-MA or MS degree preferred
