Electronic Warfare Technician/Instructor

Key Role:
Provide formal training to US Navy personnel to detect, characterize, and report Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) during contest environment scenarios. Instruct on satellite communication, RF signal generation fundamentals, and in-depth use of test equipment and use comprehension of DoD and Navy policy, doctrine, and guidance to report and request mitigation support. Apply knowledge of known intelligence to support the curriculum. This position requires the ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS Navy sites to provide curriculum and deploy out to sea for up to a week during EMI replication exercises up to 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with technical and operational satellite communications (SATCOM)
-1+ years of experience with instructing live classroom training
-Knowledge of SATCOM and GPS fundamentals
-Knowledge of published SATCOM and EMI policy and doctrine
-TS/SCI clearance required
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with EMI detection, including characterizing and mitigating TTPs
-Experience with SATCOM in a battalion, NCTAMS, RSSC, C-SSE, or combat communications squadron preferred
-Experience as a crew chief on a SATCOM electronic attack system or NCOIC of a combat communications or RF system
-BA or BS degree in a related field preferred
-Master Training Specialist designation or related training qualification preferred

-DoD Electronic Attack or related certification preferred

-SATCOM EW System or SATCOM RF Transmission Specialist Qualification or Certified Operator of Electronic Warfare Capabilities Certification
