Electronic Warfare Technician

Key Role: 

Train US and multinational personnel on operator and staff Electronic Warfare crews, including classroom instruction and practical applications in a field environment. Act as a back-up instructor for IED Awareness, Hand Held Detectors, Biometrics, and other duties for the Vilseck Threat Mitigation Team. Provide government site C-IED and other threat mitigation subject matter training expertise to develop holistic threat mitigation training programs to integrate, plan, synchronize, coordinate, and facilitate all live, virtual, constructive, and gaming C-IED assets into CATC courses and home station training. Perform reviews and submit a training curriculum through Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) processes to ensure compliance with classification releases. Review and update training curriculum to ensure it reflects the most current training concepts, tasks, and references, as aligned to US and NATO training doctrine.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience as an Army NCO, Company and Field Grade Officer, Warrant Officer or USMC, USAF, USN equivalent

-Knowledge of THOR III, Duke V3, Symphony, Universal Test Set, or Spectrum Analyzers

-Active Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree and 7+ years of experience with operational, BA or BS degree and 3+ years of experience with operational, or 11 years of experience with operational in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

-Graduate of an Electronic Warfare Officer Course

-Graduate of an Instructor Training Course in Army or another branch of the Military

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with USEUCOM theater of operations

-Experience with being deployed in combat or in a combat advisor role

-Experience with CREW FSR in a deployed environment

-Experience with NATO EW

-Experience at a Combined Training Center

-Experience with teaching IED and HME awareness
