Electronic Warfare Test Support Technician

Key Role:

Support electronic warfare (EW) systems flight test, primarily EA-18G and Next-Generation Jammer. Apply technical techniques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, and communications for associated support equipment or facilities. Maintain responsibility to repair, inspect, troubleshoot, or program system equipment or components. Lead reviews, analyze, develop, including preparing or applying engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures. Organize, analyze, and prepare reports or presentations of technical data and information. Plan and perform tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components. Compile processes, reduce, or analyze test data and results.


Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience as a flight test engineering technician

-Experience with coordinating an aircraft maintenance department in preparing aircraft configuration for testing

-Experience with aircraft and EW systems preparation for flight testing

-Experience with electronic warfare systems

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school curriculum or course of training in electricity, electronics, avionics, mechanics, armaments, ordnance, or engineering technology


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with EW systems avionics support

-Experience as a senior EA-6B or EA-18G avionics technician preferred

-Knowledge of analytics and design software, including MATLAB, C++ and Java preferred


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
