Electronics Engineering/Electronic Warfare Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Apply expertise in electronics engineering concepts as they pertain to all-source scientific and technical (S&TI) analysis to determine the characteristics, capabilities, limitations, or vulnerabilities of foreign military electronics and sensor systems and predicting the future capabilities and effectiveness of such systems. Design and conduct technical engineering analyses to identify and document weapon systems’ functionality, capabilities and vulnerabilities, including computer aided design (CAD) models, key threat signatures, and software and embedded systems. Write or contribute to to all-source S&TI assessments and populate and maintain databases on foreign weapons, C4ISR, and counter-C4ISR systems.


Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with engineering, science and technology analysis
-Experience with electronics engineering concepts as they pertain to determining the characteristics of current foreign military research on ground-based electronics and sensor systems and predicting the future capabilities and battlefield effectiveness of such systems
-Experience with sensor, network, communication systems, and battlefield automation analysis, including using COTS and government simulation tools to develop studies on the vulnerabilities, sensor to shooter timelines, and cascading effects of weapon system and network degradation
-Experience with designing and conducting technical engineering analyses to identify and document weapon systems’ functionality, capabilities and vulnerabilities, including, computer aided design (CAD) models, key threat signatures, and software or embedded systems.
-Experience with weapon system-of-systems, including identifying their sensor to shooter chains and mapping the chains to identify key vulnerability nodes

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, communications and non-communications jammers, passive surveillance systems, waveforms and equipment correlations of EW systems, radio electronic combat, and air defense countermeasures


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
