Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as a Cybersecurity engineer and software developer on a team conducting research and development and providing technical assistance in support of DoD clients. Perform activities ranging from algorithm development to architecture design and software implementation. Leverage knowledge of multiple operating systems, multiple programming languages, and development of various methods and strategies for Cyber-attack and defense. Work as a self-starter with minimal supervision. Interact directly with clients to identify problems, generate solutions, and communicate results.


Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in working with embedded computers and systems in both Linux and Windows environments

-3+ years of experience in programming with C/C++, Java, and Python

-1+ years of experience with conducting research and developing novel Cyber defense methods for embedded systems

-1+ years of experience with interacting directly with clients to identify problems, analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate results

-Experience with applications of machine learning and anomaly detection to Cybersecurity

-Experience with developing attack or defense strategies, methods, and processes for Cybersecurity related to applications, operating systems, and networks

-Experience with IoT related hardware and software

-Knowledge of the general state-of-the-art in Cybersecurity

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in programming with .NET, including C# or Visual Basic

-Experience with applications of machine learning and anomaly detection to Cybersecurity

-Experience in electrical circuit and PCB design

-Experience in space and robotic systems

-Experience with version control software, including git or svn

-Experience with developing software and architectures for secure data links or communications

-MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related major
