Embedded Digital Signal Processing Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Architect and develop embedded software for communications and navigation systems. Develop custom C++ DSP blocks for GNU Radio and integrate them into Xilinx FPGA or system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. Develop host code in C/C++ for Xilinx FPGA and SoC products. Model communication systems in MATLAB and implement them in GNU Radio. Architect the most efficient communication link based on client requirements. Prepare and present design concepts, project plans, and product reports to internal teams and clients. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with embedded development for communications or navigation systems

-2+ years of experience with using GNU Radio or developing communications systems

-Experience in C/C++

-Experience with systems-on-chip (SoCs), microcontrollers, or digital signal processors 

-Experience in communications theory

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Xilinx SDK and Vivado

-Experience with FPGAs and VHDL development

-Experience with communications and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) principles and techniques
