Emergency Management Exercise Planner

Key Role:

Provide analysis of emergency management stakeholder requirements and support to implement the design, development, conduct, and evaluation of exercises that are specific for FEMA, including no-notice Thunderbolt exercises, interagency exercises, operational component exercises, and exercises that involve regional offices and interagency organizations, as appropriate. Assist with the coordination and maintenance of the relationship between the contractor's staff and stakeholders to optimize performance and cross-functional expertise and support performance, measurement, and reporting. Leverage knowledge of emergency management preparedness programs and principles. Support project managers to ensure the quality of deliverables and products.

Basic Qualifications:

-1 year of experience with supporting emergency management exercise planning or related projects

-1 year of experience with working as an analyst of emergency management policies, programs, and procedures supporting state or federal agencies

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
