Employee Relations Coordinator

Key Role:

Collaborate and consult with employee relations (ER) team members and other applicable functional groups, including the ethics department, law department, or security services to identify the appropriate action required on employee relation and human resource (HR) inquiries across all segments and locations of the business, and coordinate the resolution of matters where possible. Provide support to the ER community and other internal teams related to policies, systems, and practices, including those related to furloughs, lack of work, and disciplinary actions. Assist the ER specialist to analyze prior disciplinary action committee cases, disciplinary action reports, or other data sources to identify trends in the work environment. Provide support with scheduling events and meetings, including training workshops and senior leadership meetings. Gain the opportunity to develop knowledge in multiple areas, including EEO regulations and investigations, accommodations and ADA, compliance, and development of training to the Booz Allen community, and on topics related to employee relations and HR compliance issues, such as changes to labor and employment laws, compliance regulations, and investigative processes.

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in the HR field, including identifying and resolving employee concerns related to employment areas, such as conflict resolution  

-Experience with Microsoft Office   
-Experience with working in a high-energy environment
-Experience in working with various levels of staff and demonstrated professionalism and discretion performing multiple duties
-Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information and data from multiple sources and summarize findings concisely and clearly in writing and presentations

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with CounselLink, Navex, and Workday systems preferred
-BA or BS degree in Business or Human Resources

-HR Certification, including PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
