Energy Project Coordinator

Key Role:

Support a portfolio of 3-5 DoD energy projects. Work closely with the project manager, engineers, business analysts, and other experts to support the timely execution of energy projects. Provide key project support in assessing the viability of potential renewable energy project opportunities. Maintain responsibility for managing, analyzing, and synthesizing information for key decision briefs. Perform meeting scheduling and logistics, written correspondence, review of documents for consistency, grammar, and context, work flow management, travel reservations, updating project budgets and schedules, special projects, communication, and coordination with staff and senior executive stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with project development and management

-Experience in the energy industry

-Experience with working on multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to parallel project development workstreams and activities

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with DoD installations on energy-related technology, financial, and government contracting issues

-Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and markets

-Ability to synthesize technical information and data into clear and concise deliverables

-Ability to collaborate with a team in preparing effective presentations and deliverables

-Possession of excellent organizational skills, including managing multiple client meetings on a weekly basis

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting complex energy data to non-technical audiences

-MA or MS degree a plus
