Energy Project Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze current and pending energy policies to assist federal program clients with comprehending market impacts and needs to modify federal programming. Apply knowledge of technical, business, market, and policy landscapes regarding energy efficiency, fossil energy, and renewable energy to assist clients with strategic and tactical solutions. Apply knowledge of financing mechanisms, federal, state, and local policies, and best practice benchmarks to assist clients with solving compliance, business case selling, and outreach challenges. Leverage advanced consulting expertise, including defining scopes and appropriate approaches to new assignments. Serve as a mentor to junior team members, contribute to studies and proposals, and be involved in generating intellectual capital, as needed. Build and maintain trusted relationships with mid-level clients.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in the energy industry, including conducting technical development or reviews of energy conservation measures
-5 years of experience with project management, including managing complex projects with technical, business, policy, and operational considerations
-3 years of experience with planning or implementing an energy savings performance contract or mechanism and planning complex events, meetings, and executive engagements
-Ability to support US travel of up to 25%
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with the energy industry, including federal project management
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Secret clearance preferred
-MA or MS degree preferred
-Certified Energy Manager Designation preferred
