Energy Project Manager, Senior

Key Role:
Apply detailed knowledge of complex technical, business, market, regulatory, and policy issues related to one or more disciplines around energy generation and optimization to assist military clients with strategic and tactical solutions to support energy resilience. Apply knowledge of financing mechanisms, federal, state, and local policies, and best practice benchmarks to assist clients with solving challenges related to compliance, deal structuring, and outreach. Perform as a problem solver and manage a team of various experts to deliver a well-coordinated product to clients. Lead facilitation sessions with a diverse set of stakeholders and determine pathways to meet competing objectives. Recommend possible solutions with complementary and discreet actions to meet client requirements and energy solution sets. Apply advanced consulting expertise and define scope and appropriate approaches to new assignments. Serve as a mentor to junior team members, contribute to studies and proposals, generate intellectual capital, and build and maintain trusted relationships with mid-level clients.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-5+ years of experience in project management, including managing complex projects with technical, business, policy, and operational considerations

-5+ years of experience in coordinating and conducting complex stakeholder engagements with industry and government, including senior leadership in both areas

-5+ years of experience with planning or implementing contractual agreements to provide energy infrastructure, services, generation, or efficiencies

-Ability to travel within the US for up to 25% of the time

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree required


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the energy industry, including federal project management

-Experience with military clients preferred

-Experience with meeting and workshop planning preferred

-Experience with real estate transactions preferred

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Secret clearance preferred
