Job Number: R0047903

Energy Systems Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Use expertise in information management systems, spreadsheets, meter and billing databases, onsite inspections, building energy audits, and engineering analysis to identify and make recommendations to increase automated metering efforts and correct anomalies in facility energy use. Work on anomalies that may include unexplained electric demand spikes, deviations from recent and prior year consumption patterns, unusual load curves, unusually high energy use per square foot, and similar indicators. Work with unit energy managers (UEMs), building energy monitors (BEMs), and facilities personnel to field check and diagnose such problems. Ensure the problem is corrected at no cost or with low-cost measures such as replacing bad photocells, as authorized by competent government officials. Submit more complex problems with recommended corrective actions to facilities' trouble desk for correction. Provide an economic analysis and project documentation to help justify the work in the case of problems that require significant funds to correct.

-Experience with electrical and HVAC work

-Experience with auditing project development, life cycle cost analysis, commissioning, and building and system optimization

-Experience with utility information systems, energy management technologies, metering, awareness, economic and technical analysis, and qualifying for incentives and awards

-Experience with performing building energy audits and identifying no or low cost energy conservation measures

-Experience with supporting energy savings performance contract administration, measurement, and verification

-BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
