We improve the technical rigor of the weapon system development process as requirements are established and managed, trade studies are performed, and test and evaluation activities are executed. As a systems engineer on our team, you will have the chance to shape the ground combat and tactical vehicles for the Marine Corps by leading the early systems engineering activities necessary to field the warfighting systems of the future. Your customer will trust you to not only help develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You Have:
-5+ years of experience with systems engineering activities for large acquisition programs, including stakeholder requirements definition, requirements analysis, test and evaluation, trade studies, architecture design in accordance with existing DoD processes, and using and maintaining combat and tactical vehicles
-Knowledge of Marine Corps organization, doctrine, and employment and the DoD acquisition process, including the process through which large-scale, complex warfighting systems are developed and fielded and how the DoD tests and evaluates requirements for warfighting systems at various test centers
-Ability to comprehend complex technical problems where capabilities are affected by technical achievability, affordability, and schedule, lead small to large groups with competing priorities through a technical problem ending at a defendable solution, work closely with program managers on a technical level and translate information into actionable capability decisions, review the work of other engineers for accuracy and correctness, lead and collaborate with mixed teams comprised of government and industry personnel, and apply problem solving techniques when faced with complex problems under uncertainty
-Secret clearance
-BS degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:
-Experience as a former Marine Corps officer in a ground combat role, including infantry, light armored reconnaissance, tanks, or amphibious assault vehicles
-Experience as an engineer or test officer for an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) who has successfully built and fielded DoD warfighting systems
-Knowledge of model-based system engienering using SysML
-MS degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
-INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification
-OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional Certification
