Enterprise Architect, Mid

Key Role:

Work as a technical enterprise architect and systems analyst under general direction, assisting with developing business, technical, and functional processes and requirements. Build and maintain specific DoD Architecture Framework 2.0 (DoDAF 2.0) models and views in accordance with DoD Enterprise Architecture (EA) guidance. Provide consultation and strategic guidance to federal agency chief enterprise architects, CIOs, and other senior IT staff to help shape IT strategy and direction for large and complex agency IT ecosystems. Develop and maintain key agency Enterprise Architecture (EA) products, including current EA, target EA, enterprise transition plan, enterprise standards profile, EA technical guidance, design patterns, and technology roadmaps. Facilitate stakeholder work sessions focused on making Enterprise-wide decisions that balance and prioritize the competing interests of individual stakeholder groups. Prepare and deliver planning tools and presentations to communicate architecture practices, project schedules, resource requirements, and program status to DoD clients and Booz Allen teams.


Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with enterprise and solution architecture
-2+ years of experience with developing business, systems, and data architecture models using the System Architect Enterprise Architecture tool
-1+ years of experience with using the DoDAF
-1+ years of experience with developing BPMN models
-1+ years of experience with working for DoD or federal clients
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree required


Additional Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with developing IT strategy in support of systems development, architecture development and maintenance, portfolio management, or acquisition management
-Experience with working in Agile environments a plus
-Experience with using Microsoft Visio and Office
-Ability to enforce documented standards and provide guidance to application teams
-Ability to create and maintain documentation pertinent to data architecture and standards
-Ability to work in a team environment and independently on assigned tasks
-Possession of excellent documentation, analytical, interfacing, and presentation skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Certified Enterprise Architect Certification preferred
-FEAC, BPMN, or ITIL Certification
