Enterprise Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Support of the integrated personnel and pay system Army (IPPS-A) program management office (PMO), provide consultation and strategic guidance to chief enterprise architects, PM, and other senior technical staff to help shape IT strategy and direction for large and complex Joint IT ecosystems. Maintain responsibility of key agency enterprise architecture (EA) products, including current EA, target EA, enterprise transition plan, enterprise standards profile, EA technical guidance, design patterns, and technology roadmaps. Facilitate stakeholder work sessions focused on making enterprise-wide decisions that balance and prioritize the competing interests of individual stakeholder groups. Provide guidance to client EA program lead in improving the impact and usefulness of EA products, leveraging the EA to inform enterprise decision-making and integrating the EA into broader enterprise planning and governance processes.


Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with systems engineering, IT, or enterprise planning

-4+ years of experience with applying EA methodologies and frameworks, including adapting DoD AF to meet the client’s analytical data requirements

-3+ years of experience with modeling and analyzing enterprise business applications and technology environments, including business process models, multi-system or system-of-system views, conceptual and logical infrastructure views, or conceptual and logical data views

-Ability to function at detail and concept levels

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with EA modeling and visualization tools

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical and conceptual skills
