Enterprise Architect

Key Role:
Provide IT strategic guidance and support for a major DoD client. Demonstrate knowledge of DoD and Joint IT future transformation goals and the Joint Information Environment and advise on DoD enterprise services, including collaboration, content discovery and delivery, and enterprise functions, systems, standards, and processes in support of the Joint community. Develop appropriate methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address client objectives, drive the organization toward business results, reinforce the organization's strategic information sharing objectives, achieve improvements in effectiveness, gain efficiencies, and increase security. Develop, analyze, and maintain as-is and to-be Enterprise Architecture operational, system, and capability viewpoints using DoD Architecture Frameworks (DoDAF) to support decision making and transformation efforts across the organization. Provide recommendations for migrating systems and applications to DoD-level enterprise capabilities and services, support and document changes to the IT investments, and update architecture artifacts, as required. Create and maintain Fit for Purpose views and dashboards that present key Enterprise Information in consumable and meaningful formats for the client using SharePoint and Microsoft Access. Assist clients with Joint Information Environment IT system migrations consisting of applications, operational baselines, and decommissioning of the legacy network environment.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with creating, supporting, or executing DoD enterprise architectures, information systems, strategies, or governance and transformation

-5+ years of experience with providing DoD IT consulting support in a specialized area, including enterprise architecture, IT road mapping, enterprise services, SOA and service governance, or knowledge management

-Experience in the preparation and execution of detailed C2 system architecture, including interim and final architecture documentation and presentation

-Experience with evaluation of C2 system architectures

-Ability to show flexibility, initiative, and innovation in dealing with ambiguous, fast-paced situations

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with analyzing IT systems and applying industry best practices to systems of systems analysis

-Experience with providing high-level systems analysis and tracking

-Experience with applying industry best practices to architecture design and data capture

-Experience with IT Service Management activities focusing on the plan and design phases

-Experience with command staff in the US military

-Ability to work independently with minimal intervention

-Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplined team

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
