Enterprise Architect

Key Role:

Serve as a senior enterprise architect responsible for scoping and supporting the implementation of a strategic vision for a unified and modern enterprise architecture program and associated technical capabilities. Work directly with federal technical leads to devise and implement a robust agency programmatic architecture platform and provide consultation and strategic guidance to enterprise architects, program managers, and other stakeholders to help shape enterprise IT strategy and direction for large and complex systems. Analyze and develop enterprise architecture work products, including current, target, and standards profiles, technical guidance documentation, design patterns, and technology roadmaps. Identify and use appropriate methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address client objectives and drive the EA program to achieve business results. Facilitate working sessions focused on assessing enterprise considerations that balance and prioritize the competing interests of individual stakeholder groups through the respective client bureaus and offices. Provide guidance on how to leverage the client’s enterprise architecture environment and technical platforms to inform executive-level decisions and integrate enterprise architecture work stream into broader agency planning and governance processes. Deliver on multiple IT initiatives, including enterprise architecture, data management, and functional requirements development support services.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in a project management or strategic leadership role managing relationships with senior level clients and overseeing the delivery of multiple supporting resources

-Experience with modeling and analyzing enterprise business applications and technology environments, including business process models, multi-system or system-of-system views, conceptual and logical infrastructure views, or conceptual and logical data views

-Experience with conducting IT system analyses to support system consolidation and modernization efforts

-Experience with systems engineering, IT, or enterprise planning and implementation of large-scale systems

-Experience with applying enterprise and technical methodologies and frameworks, including SDLC, ICAgile, and rapid prototyping to meet the client’s requirements

-Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices for strategic planning, program management, and IT governance

-Ability to credibly defend recommendations using supporting data and expertise

-Ability to create both functional and technical requirements and execute analyses of alternatives

-Public Trust clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to develop reference architectures, system architecture diagrams, process improvement maps, and other similar visual artifacts

-MA or MS degree in a technical field

-ICAgile, Project Management Professional (PMP), Technology Business Management (TBM), or Change Management Advanced Practitioner (CMAP) Certification
